Data Privacy Policy

Thames Valley IVC adopted a Privacy Policy in line with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) as advised by the AIVC.  It can be viewed as a web page or downloaded as a PDF file.

Disability Discrimination Act

The Act says it is unlawful for a private club to discriminate against a disabled member. This covers the way it allows that person to access any benefits, facilities or services. It is also unlawful to refuse or deliberately fail to give a person access to benefits, by taking away a person’s membership or changing the terms on which that person is a member. The Act says that we are legally responsible for the actions of our club, and the members’ actions towards a disabled person. This is just a reminder to everyone.
